I mentioned our laundry room in an earlier post and I promised I would share, just put the finishing touches on it today and I hope you all like it.

This is what our laundry room used to look like...
Gross...I know.

One night last week after too much sweet tea too late at night I could NOT fall asleep.  I was just hanging out it bed, trying to get Brady to wake to keep me company, but he was having none of that.  So obviously I take out my handy dandy, can't live without it iPhone and started creepin'.  As I looked browed Pinterest and looked at all the wonderful pins before I came to the shocking realization that I had a BUTT UGLY laundry room.

So naturally the next day Brady and I tore out the disguisting cabinet and started to brainstorm what to do.  A hundred bucks, some mudding, painting, shelf hanging, and hobby lobbying later...we have this...
Isn't it so wonderul!?  The project was easy, cheap, and I personally think that it now looks a million times better!  And my favorite little detail (in case you didn't notice) is that the vase holding the flowers has clothes pins in it!  I mean, come on...I'm not trying to trick anyone by putting water in the vase with the silk flowers, so obviously if you aren't going to fill a vase with water then you might as well fill it with clothespins!

Sorry I kind of suck at taking pictures...I feel like the pictures don't really do justice to how amazing the transformation is in real life, so you will all just have to come over and see for yourselves!  Just remember how ugly it used to be =)

We recently got a new clothes dryer.  It was very inexpensive, Brady installed it himself, it is super eco-friendly and wallet friendly as it costs virtually nothing to run.  The only con is that it leaves our clothes kind of crunchy...it's a CLOTHESLINE!

Clothesline close up...I had to make sure none of Brady's sexy undies were in this pic becuase all the other girls would get too jealous =)

Our pretty country view!

Look at this handy dandy clothespin holder that my girlfriend Krista got me =) This is pretty much the reason I wanted a clothesline in the first place!

Let me just tell you...these things are amazing!  Growing up, my family had tons of problems with allergies and eczema so we always used unscented and no fun laundry detergent and we definitely never used fabric softener or anything yummy like that.  My mother-in-law got me hooked on these things and I could slap her because they are expensive!  I refuse to pay full price for them, but even after I use coupons or get them on sale they are still around 6 bucks, full price they can be about $8 or $9!

It is so worth it though...Downy Unstopables are sort of like Yankee Candles or Bath and Body Works Wallflowers for me...I justify the price because they just smell so darn good!  I am all about smelling good and I pretty much am always in a constant battle against foul odors.  I guess this is that I signed up for being married to a pig farmer and owning a big slobbery hound dog.  But I refuse to lose the war!  I want to smell good, I want my house to smell good, I want my husband to smell good, I want our dog to smell good, and now because of this "clothing scent booster" our clothes can also smell good.  Actually they smell way better than good...good is clean cotton.  Now the clean cotton scent just does nothing for me anymore...but scent saturated, super delicious clothes, sheets, and towels totally turns me on.  TMI?

I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone, but let me warn you...once you come to the delicious smelling dark side you won't be able to turn back.
